BBGP invests in growing Australian oil & gas business
In July 2007, Babcock & Brown Global Partners (‘BBGP’) invested in a capital increase of the privately owned Coogee Resources based in Perth, Australia, alongside Babcock & Brown (ASX:BNB). Over the last six years, the company has acquired an attractive portfolio of production, development and exploration oil and gas assets located within the Australian waters of the Timor Sea, off the north coast of Western Australia. Coogee Resources has successfully developed two oil fields (Jabiru and Challis).
